The Death of Sarah
3. Genesis chapter twenty three, The Death of Sarah.
I would like to share my insight on this chapter
Sarah gave birth to Isaac, the child of Abraham by promise. Sometimes we are put here on earth to do an assignment from God, and when we have completed the assignment, we go home. Sarah had no other children from Abraham, she only gave birth to one son, Isaac. She was here long enough to make sure that her child was the only heir, even though she got ahead of God and had her husband to conceive a child by her handmaid, yet, she saw where there could only be one heir, and that heir was her son. She was here on earth long enough to accomplish her assignment, and then gone. There was another person here on earth long enough to complete his assignment, and after he completed it, he was beheaded, that person was John the Baptist. John the Baptist was born so that he could bear witness of the true light., after he bear witness of the light, he was beheaded, and Jesus' ministry came forth.
It's important for us to know our callings, and what it is that God has for us to do, you are put here for that reason, for that purpose, and when you have accomplished it, you go home..........
